Mechanical Technical Site Engineer
Progesys Inc. is an industrial consulting, project management and engineering services company with global presence having headquarters in Laval (Canada) since 2002 and has offices in the United States, the Middle East (UAE and Oman) as well as in Asia (Malaysia and Indonesia).
Progesys is looking for a Technical Site Engineer (Mechanical) to complete our team in Oman.
Main responsibilities:
Supervise the labor force
Plan work to be done
Organize plant and site facilities to meet deadlines
Prepare daily reports
Enforce health and safety on site
Ensure work quality meet as per the ITP
Problem-solving as issues arise
Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for all subcontractors, craftspeople, and operatives
Setting out, leveling and surveying the site
Checking the sums are right on plans, drawings, and quantities and that all materials and work are to the specifications.
Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant (heavy machinery), agreeing on prices and sticking to the documents supplied by the client or architect.
Required qualifications:
Minimum 7+ years of experience in relation to the position
Mechanical Engineer with experience in construction of new building.
Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
Bilingualism
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Time management and work planning skills are essential for delivering efficient and productive workflow
