Key Accountabilities
Key Activities
Planning and Implementation
Develop and implement Digital Channels targets and initiatives Participate in the Department’s budget planning phase in order to ensure sufficiency of allocated budget to meet the Department’s goals
Lead the development of Digital Channels strategies that effectively support the attainment of the Departments business goals
Manage implementation of Digital Channel strategy through an Omni Channel Approach ensuring consistent Experience.
Digital channels Management
Identify opportunities for digital channels in the market
Lead The App team to ensure coherent innovative customer centric App
Lead the UX/UI of the Digital Interface channels
Lead the E-Shop implementation and Roadmap including sales & revenue
Lead the Portal & web site monetization and service rates
Identify requirements and continuous improvements and functionalities of digital channels
Coordinate with different stakeholders across organization (Customer Care, IT, Social Media etc.) to assure digital channels are leveraged optimally
Lead the UX/UI interface and design to ensure the alignment of our digital strategy
Monitor training and education programs in order to ensure that organization and partners have the required knowledge to utilize Omantel digital channels
Conduct annual formal evaluation of all digital channels
Operational Management
Monitor day-to-day operational activities of the Department to ensure adherence to operating budget for digital channels
Monitor departmental performance to ensure that all issues are resolved in a timely manner
Generate daily/weekly/quarterly section performance reports that are disseminated, followed-up and filed appropriately
Supervise coordination of promotional activities
Supervise coordination with Mobile Network on activation and other technical requirements
Supervise coordination of promotional activities with relevant departments
Policies and Procedures
Establish policies and procedures for the Department
Identify potential areas of improvement in existing policies and procedures and make suitable recommendations
Monitor day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures
People Management
Motivate and empower direct reports by providing the necessary tools and support required to support Department goals
Plan, manage, and review individual performance and provide regular feedback, development and coaching, taking prompt action where necessary
Establish clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility and monitor the workflow of the Digital Channel Department
Build opportunities for Digital Channel Department members to suggest, participate in and contribute to improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing initiatives
Provide guidance and ensure that the Digital Channels Department complies with Omantel’s policies, processes, practices and systems
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Knowledge / Technical Skills
Thorough experience in digital channels, preferable within the telecommunication domain
Excellent analytical skills
Good marketing management skills
Regional and/or Omani market knowledge
Education /
Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Field.
Experience
8 years of total experience & at least 3 years in a managerial position
