  1. Manager IT Programme

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

Accountable for the overall programme schedule for IT
Accountable for the programme mechanisms including RAID, reporting, issue resolution, task allocation and management.
Accountable for the establishment of the IT programme board and its sub groups to ensure that the programme delivery to the organisation is flawless.
Accountable for running the related programme meetings/workshops etc, as indicate the establishment.
Will be the programme interlock to Network, Commercial, Finance and the overall programme lead for the new company.
Responsible for integration and performance defects during the testing phases and accountable for the fixes required.
Responsible for programme assurance internally and externally to all related parties
Responsible for educating/instructing the vendors to the ways of working
Responsible for defining and implementing the programme KPI’s and acceptance criteria.
Responsible for tracking and correcting the achieved KPI levels
Accountable for defining and monitoring the business benefits that the programme delivers back to the business.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

Direct experience in IT in a telecom’s environment in a similar role, with an absolute match of seniority/responsibility.
Expert in: MS Project ,Project and programme management ,Technology delivery ,Software lifecycle management ,Infrastructure and cloud delivery ,Vendor management ,Financial management and reporting ,Business transformation ,Benefits management ,Business process engineering ,Dispute resolution ,Issue management ,Digital platforms.
Transferable knowledge from quad play telco environments and other industries with high volume/leading edge technologies.
Direct experience of mobile and wireline technologies, from design to implementation and passing into operations.
Strong vendor management, being commercially aware of decisions and solutions impacting contracts and including commercially aware to a contracting level.
Start-up experience required
International experience across different cultures, ideally experience of having lived and worked in Oman (or in the Gulf) and/or understanding of the Arab culture.
A minimum of 6 years relevant experience.

2.IT Integration Architect

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

Overall responsibility for the integration architecture.
Delivery of the integration architecture document and interface mapping
Works closely with the network and commercial teams to ensure that the requirements for integration are encapsulated into the IA
Participate strongly in the architectural review and change boards, providing deep integration knowledge across the estate.
Aligns the integration layer realisation, matched to the overall master plan
Responsible for the development and curation of all the integration assets across the footprint, including the API catalogue, updates, reporting and mapping for all the applications in the IT estate.
Responsible for integration and performance defects during the testing phases and accountable for the fixes required.
Assure all systems meet all quality assurance requirements as defined, providing reporting, KPI’s, SLA’s, OLA’s, improvement plans where this relates directly to architecture and design.
Create a community/network of architects in the local market and into Vodafone Group Companies for the integration specific knowledge
Clear accountability for input to the contractual set up for the vendors to ensure the designs made are contractually binding.

Number of standardised API’s realised in the solution.
Local API mapping
Integration strategy
End to end integration complete
API maintenance and updates on time

Core competencies, knowledge and experience :

Direct experience in IT in a telecoms environment in a similar role, with similar ownership and accountability levels.
Deep integration knowledge across a typical IT estate, to include: ESB technology ,API gateways ,API design, build and maintain ,SOAP (WSDL/XSD) ,Rest (JSON/Swagger) ,Micro-Services ,SOA ,TMForum ,SID ,OpenAPI ,Open Source
Transferable knowledge from quad play telco environments across the key areas of an MNO covering products and services and the underlying principals associated with architecting/solution design for these services.
Direct experience of mobile and wireline technologies, from design to implementation and passing into operations.
Strong vendor management, being commercially aware of decisions and solutions impacting contracts and including commercially aware to a contracting level.
Start-up experience required.
International experience across different cultures, ideally experience of having lived and worked in Oman (or in the Gulf) and/or understanding of the Arab culture.
Overall minimum of 2 years relevant experience.

  1. IT Delivery Specialist

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

Accountable for the overall delivery of Information technology solution and set up an environment for a successful delivery.
Accountable for the end to end delivery process, through design and into operations.
Responsible for setting up the repeatable release process
Provide accurate delivery metrics (KPI’s) on a regular basis to the programme team and other forums as required.
Accountable for running the related vendor meetings/workshops etc as the Vodafone SI.
Will be the project delivery interlock to Network, Commercial, Finance and support the IT programme manager in this respect.
Responsible for delivery quality internally and externally to all related parties.
Responsible for educating/instructing the vendors to the combined delivery methods used, and the tooling required for the delivery.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

Direct experience in IT in a Telecoms environment in a similar role.
Demonstrated expertise in: MS Project, Project and programme management, Technology delivery, Software lifecycle management, Infrastructure and cloud delivery, Vendor management, Business transformation, Dispute resolution, Issue management and Digital platforms.
Transferable knowledge from quad play telco environments and other industries with high volume/leading edge technologies.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

Accountable for the App development / Other Channels as per the agreed plan and within agreed budget.
Requirements gathering and maintenance of the App / other channels requirements traceability matrix
Active participation in the App / Other Channels status updates forums
SPOC for testing team to address their issues.
Proactively highlighting RISKS and coming up with a plan of action to mitigate the risks related to App / other channels development work.
Pro- active escalation management.

Good Experience in handling deliveries related to App / Other Channels.
Good knowledge in any one of the native mobile application development (Android/iOS/Universal Windows Platform)

Excellent Communication, Negotiation and Presentation skills.
Having worked in multi-vendor, multi culture environment and/or understanding of the Arab culture.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

Project Management Certification
4-5 years work experience in similar role.
