Site Engineer- Electrical (Omani national)
We would love to hear from you if you have:
BSc. degree in Electrical Engineering
Basic knowledge of Oman electrical networks is mandatory.
Awareness of QHSE Practices for the Substation and OHL/UG construction sites.
Experience in the construction supervision of 11kV/LT Substations and OHL/UG works.
Experience in Reviewing and approving the construction program, basic electrical drawings, material submittal, project plan submitted by the contractor advise the contractor if any modification required.
Experience in Managing & supervising all site construction activities and OHL/UG Line works in accordance with the relevant OES standards.
Experience in material inspections and materials installation inspections as per the designed specification and certify.
Issue/Review weekly and monthly progress reports and other technical financial reports associated with the works.
Review contractors claim for change request (cost/time) and prepare & submit relevant reports
Conduct/Attend progress meetings as and when required to review progress and identify/highlight complications if any.
Experience in Reviewing the Project correspondence/documents, Material Submittals, drawing submittals, and respond to the contractor, review the Invoice submitted by the contractor and issue the certification.
Generate site Visit reports and all other works assigned by the client necessary to complete the project will be part of the duty.
Assess the contractor performance and report to the line Manager.
