Education and Experience
Chartered Accountant from ICAI – Mandatory
Graduation or Post Graduation degree – Mandatory
Added VAT Diploma would be an advantage.
Age Bracket between 27 – 35 years
1 + years of experience in a full life cycle VAT Implementation & governess in GCC
Specialized Skills/ Requirements
Experience in handling statutory audits and Corporate MIS
High level of presentation and Communication skills
Advance knowledge in Excel
Work knowledge in Oracle/SAP environment
MIS and Financial exposure – added advantage
Job Responsibilities
Coordinating with all business unit teams, consultants and other stakeholders to ensure complete and accurate implementation of the project.
Mapping out a VAT strategy for existing and planned business activities.
Analyzing various types of transactions entity-wise and assigning VAT rates and VAT treatments for each transaction.
Reviewing and submitting VAT Return of VAT Group and Individual entity on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Conducting VAT training and workshop in order to help understand GCC VAT framework, VAT law and implementing regulations.
Preparing and submitting to the management monthly error reports on the VAT activities.
Checking and advising to keep the sufficient documents for record purpose.
Provide VAT advice to the business, contribute to projects and interact with different stakeholders.
Ensure all transactions are booked into the system correctly by creating VAT awareness in the business, as well as in the departments where transactions are processed.
Tracking the VAT payment cleared through portal.
Filing VAT Refund form and follow up until amount refunded.
Supporting and updating finance and accounts department with new laws from local tax authority.
Providing guidance and support to the organization with CbCR Reporting, Notification and Filing Period.
