أعلن بنك الإسكان العماني عن توفر شاغر وظيفي لديه بمسمى :

Chief Executive Officer – Oman Housing Bank (Omani Nationals Only)

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning

Collaborates with the board to define and articulate the organization’s vision and to develop main objectives of that vision.
Develops and monitors strategies for ensuring the long-term financial viability of the organization.
Creates & submits for approval annual operating plans in alignment of BoD strategic direction and ensures that Bank operates in a cost-effective manner.
Develops future leadership within the organization (succession planning for executive management – including his own position).

  1. Management and Execution

Oversees the operations of the organization and manages its compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Creates and maintains procedures for implementing plans approved by the board of directors.
Promotes a culture that reflects the organization’s values, encourages good performance, and rewards productivity.
Ensures having good level of staff engagement and support BoD with all required information & updates.
Oversees evaluation of the organization and the staff’s performance on a regular basis.
Develops and proposes to BoD an appropriate management structure for the Bank.
Oversees financial reporting and accounting, including the preparation of quarterly and annual audited accounts in line with applicable accounting rules and the Bank’s accounting policies.

  1. Human Resources and Organisational Development

Proposing to BoD recruitment of direct reports and overseeing the recruitment process of the organization according to authorized policies and procedures.
Motivating and developing employees to ensure the Bank has competent resources.
Oversees the development & submit for BoD approval governance & HR policies.

  1. Risk and Compliance

Oversee the establishment of compliance procedures & policies.
Ensure availability of effective system for assessment & handling of various types of risk (credit risk, liquidity risk, pricing risk, operational risk, legal & reputation risk, capital risk).
Ensure risk & compliance systems are aligned with international standards and best practices and they comply with Central Bank of Oman requirements.
Support the supervisory and audit bodies of the Bank to perform their control & duties.

Minimum Requirements:

Qualifications

MBA or Master’s Degree in finance from a reputed University (or equivalent)
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years as senior executive in a Bank with a very strong retail banking focus.
