MUSCAT: The Zubair Corporation recently organised a human resources forum aimed at exchanging innovative ideas focused on enhancing human capital, as well as introducing future projects and programmes in support of the corporation’s human resources. The forum was attended by all the heads of human resources of the Zubair Group companies, alongside several members of the corporation’s senior management.
The forum also witnessed the launch of the ‘Himma’ programme, which seeks to empower Omani competencies within The Zubair Corporation and its subsidiaries. This programme is considered as one of the main pillars of the corporation’s strategy in managing and developing human resources in all group companies.
Commenting on the forum, Hilal bin Omar al Siyabi, Head of Corporate Services at The Zubair Corporation, said, “The organisation of this forum stems from the recommendations approved by the Omani talent empowerment team within the corporation. It is also aimed at enhancing cooperation between the human resources departments within the various group companies to implement a unified strategy.
The forum was an opportunity to learn about the current situation across different sectors in the group, discuss development opportunities and encourage collaboration.
The cooperation and sharing of ideas will contribute towards jointly facing the existing challenges and enrich a system of joint work among all parties involved.”
