Muscat: They Ministry of Health on Thursday announced cancelation of medical examination fee charged to obtaining residency for expatriates.
“In the interest of the Ministry of Health to organize the expatriate examination service, simplify procedures and reduce costs; Dr. Hilal bin Ali bin Hilal Al-Sabti – Minister of Health – directed to amend the procedures for examining arrivals for the purpose of requesting a new residence or renewing a residence in the Sultanate of Oman, and to cancel medical examination fees in private health institutions, as of November 1 of this year,” a statement from the MoH said.
