Muscat: With a view to promoting blood donation as part of Al Maha Petroleum Products Marketing Company SAOG’s corporate social responsibility and in partnership with the Omani Blood Bank, the company has organised a blood donation campaign at the company’s headquarters. The campaign turned out to be a successful one with a large number of employees participating.
“This campaign reflects the company’s social responsibility. We believe that a single blood drop can make the difference and save a life, says, Mr. Hamood Al Farsi, Assistant HR Manager.
Most people don’t realize that one unit of blood equals half a litre of blood, which can save three lives and that donors will only need to give a few minutes of their time to complete the process”, he added.
