Muscat: The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries Wealth and Water Resources has called on farmers, livestock breeders and beekeepers to take necessary precautions against the expected climatic conditions.
The ministry said in a statement: “Farmers, livestock breeders and beekeepers should take the necessary precautions to ensure the safety of their livestock and beehives, and keep them away from the streams of valleys and reefs during this period.”
The Civil Aviation Authority said: “Due to expected heavy thunderstorms likely on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, rainfall in some areas may range between 20 and 80 mm within 24 hours. The CAA advises all to take precautions during rainfall and check the sea state report before sailing.”
