Anton chekhov's "cherry orchard" was an impact on russian life. It shows the begining of the russian revolution as ranevskaya vanished and landlordism and feudalism came to an end, and lopakin becomes the new class in russian.
Anton had to work very hard as he was born in a poor family and was always helping the peasants at that time the czars were very unjust and selfish the peasants were exploited and harassed. this play shows us the Luxurious life of Mr Ranevskaya and how after his death his wife Mrs ranevskaya engoyed a luxurious life. she went to paris and spent money lavishly and her daughters also enjoyed this life. In the end also this bring them to a miseable life. The play was a root cause of fighting evil against good. The Russians fought against landlordism. chekhov completed this play in 1903. this play motivated the Russian to fight against feudalism and landlordism.
    Varya and Anya.

Mrs ranevskaya wanted to get her daughters marred but she couldn't because of the mrseiable life and no money . Anya could marry trofimov but he was very studies and went to Moscow. Varya takes a job of a housekeeper both the girls don't help in saving the cherry orchard.
the woman is now without any money and has debts over her and so the property is auctioned. Mr lopakhim tries to save the auction but the woman and her brother does not accept it finally lopakhim burys it but as they still don't leave the proprety he dicides to chep the trees the woman sees this and stops the cutting and leaves the place everybody is hiut and sad.
Lopakhim is a family friend of the Ran. he helps them to stop the auction but deep in his heait he wants to own the cherry orchard and when he gets the chance he buys the proprerly the titlle is appropriate because the play shows. the love for the tree and the auction of the cherry orchard and the attilude of many people towards the cherry orchard.
lopakhim is shown as a middle class trader who is the upcoming class in russia. he thinks differently about propertias he has no sentemental love. he decides to make plots and sell these plots he decides to make room as tourist spots.
The life of Landlords in the play:
the condition in Russia before 1905 was terrible. the Czar were borrible. people didn't have freedom they were exploited by the landlords.the people were poor and illiterates they had to pay taxes and were punished for the smallest crimes the rich land owners called Kulaks exploited the farmers. but later the rich lavish living of the landlords bought them under high debts hence there was a fall of landlords and a rise in the merchant class. the bought the Russian Revolution in 1905 where the people fought against the injustices made by the landlords.
Chekhov had seen all this hance he decided to write this play and was staged in many cities of russia.
    The title of cherry orchard
the title is very suitable. the play is taken place on the cherry orchard. Mrs Ranevskaya is the heroine of the play. she likes the orchard, the servants wait for her and she is very disturbed because the cherry orchard has to be auctioned but she has to pay her loans, Hence the cherry orchard is sold. Mrs Ranevskaya is deeply touched seeing the trees at the orchard being cut.
the cherry orchard has a symbolic significance where the landlords of russia become paupers and the fall of landlordism and the rise of a merchant class.
    Ending of cherry orchard
the ending is very sad but very suitable. Mrs Ranevskaya does not want the cherry orchard to be sold but lopakhin tells her that the cherry orchard has beeb sold and that he himself has bought it and now decides to build bungalows by chopping down the trees. Lopakhin is very happy as the carriages are ready and Mrs Ranevskaya will leave with her family.
Mrs ranevskaya is worried about fiers and her daughters Anya and Varya, but both promise to work hard and help their mother, Mrs ranveskaya is very hurt when she sees the cutting down of the trees at the C.O.
