    Job Title : Marketing and Events Specialist
    Division : Information & Awareness Division
    Reporting To : Marketing and Events Manager

    Overview:

    The position holder is responsible for the planning of all marketing and events activities and work related to spreading the awareness of the benefits of harnessing ICT as well as spreading the knowledge about eOman initiatives and its benefits to various stakeholders, locally and globally. The responsibility includes developing the marketing plans, planning events, market communications, support in formulating the corporate identity and branding of the organization.

    Main responsibilities:
    • Developing the marketing and events plans for all activities of the department to better serve the objectives of ITA.
    • Developing the marketing roll out plan for the projects and training initiatives.
    • Developing, planning and leading the awareness campaigns, events, conference, etc.
    • Develop and organize competition games and awards.
    • Support in defining and establishing the communication guidelines for the corporate identity and branding.
    • Analyze the market research studies in order to elaborate different marketing strategies, marketing plans, action plans and segmentations.
    • Identify best practices externally and internally. Conduct internal benchmarking.
    • Determine KPIs allowing measuring the performance and effectiveness of the marketing and awareness activities.
    • Inform, train and communicate to all identified organization personnel the results of the research and the analysis.
    • Branding, artwork design formulation, evaluation and related areas.
    • Supports in other tasks in the Department.
    • Coordinate all event set-up based on predetermined event layout including the set-up of tables/chairs; A/V equipment; recreational equipment; staging; and other equipment as needed.
    • Works with location management to plan the scope and format of events, to establish and monitor budgets, to review administrative procedures and to review event outcome.
