- Plan to guide student who are under observation in Sur college

Head of Communication Studies department in Sur college of applied sciences Professor Debashish, Said:
collaboration with the Center of Admission and Registration in the college, that the department in the process to implement a plan to dealing with students who are under academic observation which will contribute to raising the level of achievement in order to avoid any delay of studying or expulsion from the college.
It The head of the Department of Communication Studies at a meeting said that the plan is aimed primarily to help students who are under academic observation, so there will be periodic follow-up from the department to conduct the study plan of the students involved and to develop an alternative plan if necessary.
He added that this step include follow-up Study level for students and follow-up quality of the works assigned to student and the paper test. in addition, this step is to prepared students step by step in order to skip any obstacle that would disrupt them academically so they could finish their studies at the time periods that they have given from the college with their colleagues who are within normal academic situation.
The head of the communication department proclaim that the plan will follow such steps: " there will be seven 7 lecturers to 41 students in 4 weeks an average of one day per week". About the feedback he said" feedback of this step to be:
- understanding of the assignment and helping in rewriting the assignments.
- helping the students in preparing for their midterm and final exams. Every teacher has instructed the students to come with their course material and assignments so that they can provide them. Apart from these they are ready to take special classes of these students if they want to increase their GPA according to their advising hours".
He noted that the main problem that all the teachers are facing is that the students do not turn up for advising. The teachers cannot go to each individual student and ask them to come for advising if the students come to seek help the teachers are ready to help them in every possible manner.
Ms. Shamsa Albhloulih from the Admission and Registration Center added that the center welcomes any inquiry by the students about what is most appropriate for the success of the study plan. She emphasizing the role of the academic advisor and she said' it is necessary for student to be in rich with their advisors so they can help them in their studying plan.

She stated that the student is responsible to follow-up the course of the study plan and that if student is not interested in raising his grades There will be the feasibility of implementing such a plan.
She explained during the meeting that unfortunately there were cases of expulsion - albeit rare - as a result of the occurrence of the students under observation Academy for three semesters, which are a total number of opportunities granted to students in order to improve their level grades to get out of under observation Academy.
in addition of that she warned that students are not aware of the seriousness of the situation only when they are close to graduation, then be too late to develop an alternative plan for the student.
