Muscat: Oman Meteorology has warned that if the direction of the tropical depression changes towards the Sea of Oman, it could affect the coasts of Al Batinah, Muscat and South Al Sharqiyah.
“The current course of the tropical situation is still not clear. One of the possible paths is towards the Sea of Oman and if it progresses in this direction, it may affect the coasts near Al Batinah, Muscat and South Al Sharqiyah.
High sea waves and the flow of clouds and active winds may persist. Warnings will be issued when necessary,” Oman Meteorology said in a statement.
