Muscat: Motorists looking to use the main Muttrah Corniche road, also known as Muttrah Beach road, have been asked to find alternative methods to get to their destination, after it was closed because of rising tides caused by cyclone Shaheen.
The National Committee for Emergency Management called attention to “the closure of Muttrah Beach street as a result of the rising sea level. Those who follow this road are to find safe alternative routes.”
