Muscat: The Ministry of Health announced suspension of work in all vaccination centres.
The ministry said in a statement: “All vaccination centres will stop receiving citizens and residents, except those in the Governorates of Al Wusta and Dhofar, starting from Sunday till further notice.”
The Ministry announced that the Ministry’s call center (24441999) has been activated, and a shift schedule has been prepared for administrators in the emergency plan, doctors and health workers in health institutions in the governorates expected to be affected by the situation, and the provision of medicines and medical supplies, as well as raising the stocks of diesel, medical gas and water stocks in health institutions, and providing institutions with medical staff. The necessary technical continuity of service, and dialysis services have been intensified according to the conditions of each institution in the potentially affected governorates.
