Muscat: Be’ah has listed out several locations which have been earmarked for the transportation and disposal of dead animals by volunteers.
“Be’ah invites volunteers in North Al Batinah to contribute to reducing the damage caused by dead animals by transferring them to the designated sites in the following link:
https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1Ki6I95gY_W8PjTYKVyXDGiPJpOW_XJel&usp=sharing ,” be’ah said in a statement.
Be’ah urged that volunteers in the field must take the following steps to deal with carcasses:
1. Wear protective gloves, cover the nose and mouth in a tight manner.
2. Pay attention to insects / snakes / rodents.
3. Wear rubber or protective shoes, and if you suffer from any wounds do not expose them to the dead animal.
