Job Description :
To deliver the value of the whole firm to our customers by project managing and/or implementing Solutions projects for pre-sales and implementation of replicable and scalable packaged solutions to customer business workflow challenges in order to gain new business, win market share and increase customer satisfaction
Experience Level: 8+ years
We are currently seeking a self-motivated Tax Functional Consultant with strong consulting experience. The Consultant will work closely with customers to deploy and tune OneSource Determination and Compliance applications. OneSource works with the some of the largest ERP applications in the world and has touch points in the Procure to Pay and Order to Cash process flows. The consultant must be well versed with these business process flows and must have implemented these.
Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
– Conduct requirements gathering, design workshops with customers
– Configure the application to meet customer requirements
– Advise customers on best practices for the application implementation.
– Review the functional requirements provided by customers Design solution based on the requirements Develop test plans and manage user testing for system changes
– Support new ERP or business unit initiatives and projects which may include new functionality, process improvements or migrating new business units onto the systems that involve Indirect Tax
– Support reporting requirements and functionality
Travel: Up to 40%
Preferred Work Location: Muscat, Oman
Education: BBA\ MBA \ CA \ CS \ MCOM
Required Skills (Must have), Necessary industry Experience & associated number of years of experience:
– 8+ years of experience in ERP projects 4+ implementation projects experience.
– Good knowledge on Indirect Tax processes
– Ability to quickly learn and implement new products.
– Must be a self-starter & must have excellent communication skill Ability to think analytically and be a problem solver Ability to analyze and document complex business processes
– Must be a team player and be able to interact well with all users, peers and executive management
