The Partnerships Specialist is responsible for establishing and managing partnerships with various relevant local, regional and global partners. These partnerships range widely in scope – they could be discount partners, partners to improve customer experience, availability of the product or even new product development to open up new revenue streams. The partnerships will need to cater to various segments based on the Segmentation strategy.
The role will need to identify, liaise, align and manage a portfolio of partners as well as work closely with them to develop and execute a go to market strategy. The Partnerships Specialist will be the single point of contact for the partners and act as a liaison between them and the wider business.
The Partnerships Specialist will also be responsible for all trade communication, including network and new product launches, marketing propositions, direct communication and handset bundles, across our Direct and Indirect Sales Channels. The role will need to define, lead the development, execution and communication of a trade marketing communications plan and integrated engagement strategies that build awareness, create engagement opportunities, and drive customer & revenue growth. This includes management of the go to market agency and the management of delivery timelines and quality of execution.
Success in this role at Vodafone will depend heavily on being proactive, energetic and cross functional thinking with high management skills in order to ensure well executed and coordinated activity.
In addition, the role will need to deliver partner communications, develop joint collateral, and strategically manage joint events.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
- Find, nurture and foster new partnerships for Vodafone Oman in order to drive customer acquisition, satisfaction, differentiation or purchase behaviours/availability.
- Define overall commercial Partnerships Roadmap based on the Segmentation strategy.
- Create a systematic, process-driven approach to partner identification and relationship management.
- Identify and source partnership opportunities through calls, emails and client visits.
- Research partners, identify key players and generate interest.
- Collaborate with senior management and other marketing teammates to align our internal goals with new and existing partner relationships.
- Negotiate and finalise deals in accordance with company’s contract guidelines and policies.
- Deliver a great experience to our partners when working with our organisation – you will represent our brand and be our partners’ liaison internally.
- Forecast, measure, and report the results of various projects with partners, including co-created and/or co-branded content promotions, lead sharing, and/or event partnerships
- Keep a great ongoing relationship with partners and offer new ways to grow the partnership.
- Define overall trade comms marketing strategy and Roadmap driving sales and cut through.
- Build consitent experience across all internal and external communications touchpoints.
- Assess strategic priority areas for the business including: trends, needs, capabilities, assets, and competitive realities to identify unique market opportunities and threats, and incorporate these into relevant and compelling actionable communication plans.
- Work closely with Vodafone Group and leverage global best practices to make the most of our global brand in Oman and to ensure alignment with global Segment and Partnership strategy.
- Work close with PR and events to refine trade marketing activities.
- Manager of the Partnerships and trade marketing budget – so management of Partners and benefits, go-to-market agency, translation & merchandising etc.
- Drive post-campaign evaluation of communication campaigns & communicate performance internally. Implement learnings to ensure optimization of communications.

- Overall minimum of 4-5 years relevant experience.
