Key Objectives
Senior Network and Security Engineer
• Meeting Users expectations for delivering the Complete and reliable Services related to Network and Network Security.
• Ensuring that the hardware and software requirement for the projects / systems are met.
• Ensuring prompt, efficient and effective service to the bank’s users.
• Maintain an effective and efficient reliable Network.
• Record and maintain the Bank’s Hardware and Software inventory
• Ensuring the security and efficiency of the bank’s Network
• Ensuring the 24 hours availability of the telecommunication lines to local Branches.
• Collaboration with project management team and stakeholders, and service desk engineers on a regular basis
• Hands-on knowledge and working experience on leading Firewall, IPS, IDS and similar technologies in financial sectors.
Principal Responsibilities
To provide reliable service & support to the bank users by maintaining the Network infrastructure systems and services on an effective manner.
Person Specifications
• Minimum education level / discipline: Bachelor in Computer Since or Equivalent.
• Required experience in terms of region/industry/business/function/role: 8 years’ Experience
in programming analysis preferably in banking.
• Solid understanding of networking and especially routing protocols EIGRP, OSPF.
• Field experience in handling various networking components from routers, switches, firewall, VPN, proxy, DNS and DHCP, VoIP, load balancers.
• Field knowledge in network monitoring, management, integration with Active Directory and LDAP services, and proactive support
• Ability to understand Solution Stack (Application, Operating System platform, Virtualization Hypervisors, and internetworking)
• Solid knowledge in networking technologies, WAN optimization, MPLS, and emerging communications.
• Practical experience in network security by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access.
• Welling to learn and keeping up with value-add technologies in relation. configuration of routing and switching equipment.
Key Objectives
• Manage, Administer, Troubleshoot and Monitor Ahlibank IT Infrastructure services (Servers, Microsoft environment, AD, Exchange Email Service, File Sharing, Backup, VMware environment, vCenter, Data Storage, and HO and DR datacenters)
• Ensure Maximum Infra Services/system availability, reliability, while putting security in mind.
• Maintain inventory, logs, and documentations related to IT Infra Services/system
• Comply with and implement ISO security mandates, audit, and bank’s policies to ensure secure, approved, and successful implementation configuration and changes
• Work with PMO in implementing, testing and roll out of projects in accordance to project management practices
• Has effective communication, welling to learn, attentive to work and people, and problem-solving skills. Team working, relating and networking
Principal Responsibilities
Primary Responsibility
To provide reliable service to the bank users by maintaining the infrastructure systems and services on an effective manner.
Server Infrastructure
• Performing Veeam backups for the entire virtualized environment.
• Applying operating system updates, and configuration changes.
• Installing and configuring datacenter infrastructure hardware and software.
• Adding/deleting/creating/modifying user accounts information, resetting passwords, etc.
• Troubleshooting reported problems of servers
• System performance tuning.
• Update system as soon as new stable version of OS and application software comes out
• Implement the policies for the use of the computer system and network
• Create a backup and recovery policy
• Provides support on enterprise level virtualization infrastructure based on VMware product suites
• Applying security updates and hotfixes
• Identification and resolution of virtualization issues and problems
• provide support of service desk (ManageEngine) system
• Projects Infra resources provisioning and support
