Al Buraimi: Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), branch of Al Buraimi held a joint meeting on Monday between officials from the government, private sectors and the economic team in charge for preparing a study to identify the economic and investment opportunities in the Governorate of Al Buraimi. The meeting was chaired by Dr Ashraf Mushref, Chairman of the OCCI Chair for the Economic Studies at the Sultan Qaboos University (SQU).
The meeting reviewed the main objectives of the study, which include identifying economic and investment opportunities of the promising sectors in the Governorate of Al Buraimi, providing a sectoral study and evaluating the available opportunities.
The study also aims at identifying the necessary incentives and privileges to enhance investment environment and alluring local and foreign investors. –ONA
