Roles & Responsibilities::
Evaluation of fire team based on international standards. (Training, Qualifications, etc.)Evaluation of fire equipment and trucksEvaluation of fire plans and procedures including but not limited to fire plans, emergency and evacuation plans, checklist, risk assessment, training, drills, etc.Fire Risk assessment and risk analysis (during construction)The organization and arrangements for managing fire safety systems.Preparing all project fire protection procedures and plans.A training matrix plan, its frequency and any additional specialist requirementsFire staff Manpower histogram and competence matrix.Prepare fire emergency and evacuation plansPrepare procedure of fire drills according local and international standards.Mechanism of reporting and dealing with fire accident.Implementation of fire awareness lectures, toolbox talks and in-house fire training.Provide technical and engineering fire protection consultations and reports.Prepare civil defense monthly report.Assessing, implementation, communication to site, verifying and reply to the day-to-day fire issues raised during the execution of construction work.Provide periodic examination of fire trucks/Equipment and all its accessories and components to ensure that the contractor periodic examination of necessary maintenance is implemented.Prepare and manage the fire drill as per the company procedure and at least twice per year.Conduct regular meetings with the client execution and Safety team .Monitor the implementation of plans and systems.Take a part and lead all Fire accident investigations and report due to fire accidents.Effective emergency evacuation plan and evidence of fire drills.Records for staff fire training and equipment maintenance/tests.Records and adequate accessible information on hazardous materials/substances.Records for the monthly reports.The evidence of the improvement regarding the fire awareness.The testing of efficiency of the emergency plan and fire drills.KPI’s reports.Prepare development action plans.
Qualifications
Successful candidates shall have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited program in Safety and Environmental Management from an ABET Accredited university with a minimum of 7 years related experience, NEBOSH Diploma, NEBOSH IGC, Contractor Safety Management, IOSH, OHSAS 18001 Lead Auditor certification are required.
