The Key Accountabilities In This Role Are
Product Quality & Food Safety
Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE)
Team supervision of Operators and Helpers
GMP & Hygiene at workplace
Smooth Manufacturing Operations
Executing Maintenance plan
Handling breakdowns
Key Responsibilities
Maintaining standards for all operations in the plastic plant premises i.e. CGMP, HACCP, policies & procedures, safety measures and other requirements as per standards
Supervise and work with Operators and helpers to work as per SOP’s.
Guide and help plant team to ensure quality and conformity of Related Governing & Regulatory laws complied with during manufacturing processes
Communicate the short term/ long term objectives for month/year effectively with team members
Oversee plant shop floor discipline and achieve the best results from the available resources
Maintain manufacturing equipment, ensuring they are kept in good, workable condition and conduct online troubleshooting. Facilitate the Preventive Maintenance Program with line manager, and ensure that any machine breakdowns are attended to and serviced promptly.
Update the Production Logbook shift wise, calculate OEE and work towards reducing it
Update Production Report (Daily, MTD & YTD)
Ensure that the manufacturing facility achieves its production targets as per rolling plan and dispatch schedules as per laid down quality specifications
Work towards increasing the productivity through continuous improvement process in the manufacturing area and in line with the Programs prepared by the organization
Develop and train new Helpers and Operators as per company requirements and align them with changes from time to time as a team
Able to step into the role of Line Manager when Line Manager is absent, with the support of Factory Manager
Qualifications And Skills
Diploma or equivalent (Technical Certificate) in Maintenance – highly preferred in Electromechanical technology
Minimum (5) years of experience in Plastic Processing techniques, must be in Plastic Manufacturing
Blow molding and Injection molding previous exposure in essential
Handling machine settings and maintenance activities independently
Ability to lead, guide and supervise individuals and teams
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
Basic computer knowledge (MS Office); any experiene using an ERP (such as SAP) will be an advantage
Very Good English language level is required, both verbal and written. Arabic language is a disctinct advantages
