Muscat: The Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MoHERI) funded 446 research projects with a total value of OMR2.30 million.
The funded research projects are from 30 research and academic institutions in the public and private sectors. Moreover, research projects of self-funded Omani students abroad in 23 different academic institutions were also covered.
The ministry’s support of research projects aims to build the local research capacity and to find scientific solutions for local challenges in all sectors.
