Muscat: The Supreme Committee has approved third dose of the vaccine to some groups to enhance the level of protection of the groups most vulnerable to coronavirus disease. The Ministry of Health (MOH) will announce the target groups and the approved plan for that.
The committee also agreed to vaccinate children from the age of five to twelve, starting from the first week of November 2021.
The committee decided to allow students of grades (5-11) to receive 100% direct education in all schools, starting from the beginning of November 2021.
The Supreme Committee decided to allow the re-practicing of selling in traditional and popular markets: (sales by calling, landings and selling in open spaces), with a commitment to wearing masks, avoiding crowding in sales sites and adhering to physical distancing.
The Supreme Committee stresses the need to adhere to all decisions and not to be lenient in adhering to the precautionary measures.
