1.Network Category Specialist
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
Create and execute the Network Technology sourcing strategy to maximise the benefit to be derived from the total cost base.
Establish category management targeting the Networks and Deployment spend, to drive procurement efforts and secure a substantial contribution to company profitability.
Research the market to negotiate favourable commercial and contractual terms on all relevant contracts entered into by the company with suppliers, service providers and Group companies.
Plan strategies to reduce company working capital through the implementation of effective asset management at sites and all company network and deployment locations.
Interactions with stakeholders across the business to build strong and credible relationships to maximise overall delivery.
Use judgement based on analysis and resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience.
Understands the technology category and its context within SCM and the impact of its performance on all other teams.
Management and control of all category databases and records.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to derive accurate conclusions from a large volume of diverse and complex data.
Commercial acumen and solid knowledge of the technology / telecoms market, and key vendors and players.
Extensive experience in leading complex negotiations with suppliers and service providers, considering local, regional and global influences throughout the supply chain.
Good interpersonal skills and stakeholder management across functions at a senior executive level.
A minimum of 6 years in a Procurement and Supply environment and 3 years in managing SCM processes.
At least 5 years of technology experience, including direct and substantial experience of the telecommunications sector and categories; this must include all telecommunications networks and deployment elements including core, radio, microwave, base stations, access and site deployment equipment, plus all related managed and professional services.
Extensive and demonstrable experience in commercial negotiation with suppliers and service providers.
International experience across different cultures, ideally experience of having lived and worked in Oman (or in the Gulf), is a significant advantage.

2.Revenue and Margin Accountant
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
Ensure accurate recognition of Revenues, according to IFRS 15 standards and any relevant local rules
Ensure proper booking of cost of sales, including interconnection costs, commissions, devices costs
Ensure proper stock accounting and inventory tracking for handsets, accessories and sims
Work alongside the Financial Planning & Analysis team, assisting with inputs into budgets and providing insights into variance to budgets.
Ensure all balance sheet accounts maintained by the team are reconciled to the trial balance.
Take a proactive approach to reporting, system and process improvements to enhance effectiveness and efficiency in the wider finance function.
Key performance indicators:
Accurate and timely recognition and reporting of revenues, cost of sales and stocks
No significant audit findings
Implementation and development of all relevant OFT accounting manual policies
Robust controls and reconciliations with other IT systems and platforms i.e. BSS, logistics/warehouse
Robust set of procedures and controls to ensure oversight and control over stocks
Core competencies, knowledge and experience :
Excellent knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
Minimum 5 years’ in-depth experience in revenue and margin accounting.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build good relationships in a startup environment
Ability to be flexible in a changing environment and work to strict deadlines
Proactive attitude with the ability to identify areas for improvement.
Excellent eye for detail
Advanced Excel skills

3.Creative Design Support
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
Creative output – designing against briefs from various areas of the business.
Arabic version of the MyVodafone App.
Working with agency partners to support in the creation or adaption of campaign materials and collaterials.
Working with the retail team to develop store designs.
Support in the creation of office environments.
Maintaining a traffic system to ensure all creative is managed, including approvals.
Work closely with Vodafone Group and leverage global best practice to make the most of our global brand in Oman and to ensure alignment with global brand strategy.

Positive feedback from peers and agency partners.
Quality of creative output.
Accuracy and appropriate management of stakeholders and approvals.

Academic grade writing skills in Arabic & English.
Must be embedded within the Omani community to spot trends.
Display digital-first thinking: Well versed in key international trends and thinking. Good understanding of digital media/CVM and performance marketing.
Overall minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience.
