أعلنت شركة أوريدو عمان عن توفر شاغر وظيفي لديها بمسمى :

Department Head – Financial Accounts

· Assists in Formulating long and short term strategies, plans, policies and procedures for the General Accounts Section, to ensure the appropriate provision of financial support services to the business

· Plans the day to day activities within the department and manages their execution

· Undertakes the development and management of the department budget

· Manages all activities of the General Accounts Department to ensure smooth functioning and error-free workflow, in accordance with IFRS and company policies.

· Checks and approves trial balance and ledger accounts together with all journal entries including those prepared by other departments

· Ensures that the general ledger is accurate, maintained in accordance with legal requirements and professional accounting practice

· Approves/reviews all journal vouchers.

· Enhances and ensures proper application of Accounting Control Systems

· Review accruals, prepayments and provisions through the finance system to ensure timely and accurate closing of accounts.

· Oversees periodic reconciliation of Banks, Accounts receivables, inventory and payables, payroll reconciliation and other system interfaces with the financial system. Oversees updating of fixed assets register.

· Ensure accurate revenue and receivables accounting through monitoring and managing all process related to these activities.

· Responsible for accounting for and monitoring of customer collections from “indirect” sources (dealers, franchisers, stores)

· Directs and coordinates the efficient, timely and accurate payment of suppliers starting from receipt of invoices until their processing and payments.

· Develops and implements processes to ensure accurate coding and authorization of all requests for payment and for authorization of all petty cash reimbursements

· Supervises investor relations reports finance content.

· Responsible for complete oversight and detailed review of statutory quarterly and yearly financial statements with supporting schedules; acting as key focal point with the external auditors.

· Assesses Department’s current workflow and proposes suggestions and recommendations to improve the same using best practices management tools in order to simplify procedures, improve performance, reduce costs, and increase work quality.

· Assists in Formulation of the department budget, ensuring provision of sufficient resources to meet target goals and objectives

· Ensures all staff within the Department have in place performance contracts, are regularly and accurately appraised and are appropriately developed.

· Directs the team efforts to achieve Departmental objectives.

· Manages, coaches and develops own staff within the unit to ensure the highest level of performance at all times.

· Delegates effectively to enable opportunity for growth and knowledge improvement

· Contributes to the overall financial accounting strategy and plan for the business

· You should have 10+ years of related experience of accounting in a commercial environment at least 4 of which should be in a similar role overseeing the GL.preferably within a similar size and type of organisation

· Experience in group level reporting

· Knowledge of Oracle Financials

· Sound knowledge and proven experience of GL /Inventory /Fixed Asset accounting processes and procedures

· fluent in written and spoken English & Arabic

· MS Office proficiency.

· Professional Accounting qualification CPA, CIMA, ACCA

· Bachelor Degree in Finance or

· General Accounting

· Reconciliations

· Trial Balance production

· End of year completion

· System management

· People management

· Process development

· Business & Financial Acumen

· Attention to Detail

· Leadership & Management

· Problem solving & Decision Making
