- Job Tittle : Field Engineer

- Job Description :JOB PURPOSETo provide technical support for Service Delivery including supervision of the contractor work in the field in order to provide a high-quality service that fulfils SLA requirements.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES– Conducts site surveys and plans customer installations by studying customer orders, plans, manuals, and technical specifications; ordering and gathering equipment, supplies, materials, and tools, assessing installation site; preparing an installation diagram.- Understand the detailed scope of work in order to supervise and guide the suppliers to deliver Fixed Infrastructure projects.- Make sure orders are shared with contractor and installation appointments have been scheduled.- Review & prepare daily installation whereabout report.- Manage contractors / sub- contractors by insure they are approved by OBB Supply chain & qualified – make sure they are using approved materials & equipment’s during installation.- Monitoring contractors work performance by evaluate their performance monthly.- Support and guide contractors in the field by providing the solution for problematic orders.- Ensure the contractor commences work on the day and time specified by the customer.- Escalating any issue facing him as per escalating matrix.- Making sure all work implemented as per Oman broadband standards.- Following QHSE breach report and ensure contractor had closed the report.- Obtain all required Permits & gate pass for work execution (Municipality, Police & MOD)- Monitoring the daily target by make sure contractors have enough orders in the basket in order to reach daily target.- Ensure all completed orders closed and all required documents are uploaded in system.- Solving customers issue & meet their satisfaction. – Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications and keeping abreast of the latest FTTx products and practices.- Close coordination with Operation teams to resolve all network problems.- Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.- Maintains safe work environment by following relevant codes, standards, and legal regulations.

- Qualification :-Bachelor degree in telecom engineering or related field- Freash Graduate
- Personal Qualities :Key Skills and Competencies:Skills / Knowledge- Proficiency in a wide variety of software tools and applications.
