The Royal Horse Racing Club will organise the 51st edition National Day trophy on Friday at Al Rahba Racing Racecourse.
HH Sayyid Fahar bin Fatik al Said will preside over the event and will deliver the trophy and awards to the top winners in the final ceremony.
The race of the National Day trophy is one of the top racing events in the season.
The race will feature eight rounds including six rounds for the top purebred Arabian horses and two rounds for thoroughbred horses.
The last three rounds will be dedicated for competing at the coveted trophy.
The horse owners geared up for the awaiting 51st edition National Day trophy through series of training during the last period.
It is expected that this edition of the National Day trophy race will register tough competition from all the participants.
The race will be held under strict medical protocols inline to the protective measures against Covid-19.
The rider, Al Motasim al Balushi, who won the National Day trophy in the previous editions, said that he is willing to recall the triumph again in this edition.
