MUSCAT: Oman International Marine Equipment LLC (Yamaha – OHI Marine) has organised a campaign to clean up the beach of Darsait Al Sahel in cooperation with the Sahel Oman Sports Team and the people of the area. Volunteers from the management of the company, who gathered at Darsait Beach on Saturday, did a comprehensive cleaning, removing plastic waste and garbage.
Observing the Covid protocol, no public event was organised. General Manager Shamasher N Sharma said that the company, engaged in marine equipment sales, representing exclusive distribution for Yamaha brand ( Marine & Motor), continues to search for the best ways to enhance the well-being of the community. “Through this campaign, we look forward to making a positive impact on the lives of our customers, especially as this stems from our firm belief that the best path to a better and more sustainable future lies in our ability to integrate sustainable practices into all aspects of our daily lives”, he said.
He said the company will always be at the forefront in taking initiatives to improve the quality of life and create a cleaner and healthier environment.
