Muscat: A trough of low pressure will affect the Sultanate of Oman from Monday, November 29, 2021, the Civil Aviation Authority said in a weather report.
The Authority said: “The weather analysis in the National Multi Hazard Early Warning Centre indicates that a trough of low pressure will affect Sultanate of Oman from Monday, November 29, 2021, to Wednesday, December 1, 2021.”
The weather will be cloudy with chances of rain, occasionally thundershowers, wind, hail and flash floods in the governorates of Musandam, North Al Batinah, South Al Batinah, Muscat and South Al Sharqiya in addition to Al-Hajar Mountains and the adjacent areas.
There will be moderate sea conditions along most of the Sultanate coasts with wave height ranging up to 2 metres.
The Public Authority for Civil Aviation advices all to take precautions during rain and to check the sea state before sailing.
