Our Exciting Opportunity

As Center of Excellence manager in Oman, you have the overall responsibility to drive all the activities and manage the operations of the Center of Excellence in Oman according to the Public Authority for Privatisation and Partnership program (PAPP) directives. The right candidate for the role should have excellent project management skills to own the center during the establishment phase until it’s up and running and also to hold marketing knowledge in order to handle customer activities after the establishment phase.

The Programs Comprise Of Several Domains
Establishment of 5G/IoT Test Bed with its associated use cases.
Knowledge Transfer Programs e.g. Web/Virtual training, Public seminars/workshops, Boot Camps, Coaching & Mentoring.
Digital Lab Programs for Junior academy students
Marketing & Innovation e.g. Seminars, Oman accounts marketing activities, and planning
Strategy Advisory program for PAPP

For The Above Scope, We Need To Have a Program Leader Who Can Lead This Forward And Having An Engagement With Different Partners Such As
Regulators including Government Agencies
Operators in-country
Ministries especially the Ministry of Education
Industries and Verticals such as Mining, Ports, Airports
The position reports to the Market Area Head of Experience Marketing.

You will
Placement, administration, control, and management of all subcontracts required to meet the requirement defined in this Project Agreement
Planning, programming, and progressing the work including appropriate documentation
Financial management of the work, including financial control and monitoring of all subcontracts, and
Providing quarterly project progress report to cover overall project schedule and deliverables, resources, cost, performance, project risks, and mitigation, the status of old and new issues, and quality.
Providing any information as and when requested by PAPP.
Establish a Project Team whose involvement with the Project lasts from planning to final execution of the agreement and until the delivery and operational implementation of the Project and the deliverables set out in this Agreement have been fulfilled, all as detailed in the Statement of Work (SOW). The role, composition, and activities of the Project Management Team shall be conducted in accordance with the Operational Implementation Plan.
Manage quality, health, safety and environment and training, and all vital supporting resources to ensure successful management and delivery of the Project.
Prepare and maintain a coordinated Master Schedule. This will include specific achievements for the development and sustainment of outputs. The Master Schedule will be supervised and controlled by an Operations Project Management Team (OPMT); major deviations will be identified and reported to the Executive Board (XB) on which PAPP is represented.
Progress Review Meetings. Held bi-yearly and location shall be subject to agreement between the Parties. Project Review Meetings shall be detailed by Minutes duly signed by the Parties and the Minutes of such Project Review Meetings shall then be presented to PAPP along with any Tawazun Oman credit request (discharge of obligation).
Build impactful customer experiences
Manage the operation of the center of excellence facility including budgeting and expenses, resource planning, schedule…
Host customer delegation, seminars, workshops, events
Build positive relationships with customers and their accounts to engage early in the customer journey and build the need for the customer
Engage with campaign managers and domains teams to build relevant business cases based on customer pain points pre-studies and requirements
Host demos
Execute presentations and other types of relevant customer engagements
Prioritize Hackathons, boot camps, universities competitions
Mentor and coach youth and entrepreneurs/ startups on their business ideas aligned to Market area business case
Mentor youth and startups on their business ideas
Align and collaborate with other global hubs
Measure activation success and analyze needed changes

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements
University degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or equivalent training/experience

Experience working in a distributed team
Strong focus on execution and measurable results
demonstrated ability from business, marketing and/or sales or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications & Experience Requirements
Resource management (including budget management)
Experience from working in a dynamic and fast paced
