Muscat: Rescue teams managed to successfully save a person who was stuck in a Wadi in the wilayat of Rustaq.
A statement by the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority said, “A team in the Governorate of South Al Batinah managed to rescue a person after he was stuck in Wadi Al Ghashab stream in the Wilayat of Rustaq, and he is in good health.”
Meanwhile a helicopter of the Royal Air Force of Oman evacuated a girl from Musandam and took her to the Royal Hospital in Muscat for emergency medical treatment.
The Ministry of Defence said in a statement: “Today, one of the helicopters of the Royal Air Force of Oman carried out a medical evacuation of a girl suffering from a critical condition. She was transferred from Khasab Hospital in the Governorate of Musandam to the Royal Hospital in the Governorate of Muscat to receive the necessary specialised treatment.”
