- Senior Server Administrator – IT (Omani National)
Key Objectives
• Manage, Administer, Troubleshoot and Monitor Ahlibank IT Infrastructure services (Servers, Microsoft environment, AD, Exchange Email Service, File Sharing, Backup, VMware environment, vCenter, Data Storage, Citrix and HO and DR datacenters)
• Ensure Maximum Infra Services/system availability, reliability, while putting security in mind.
• Maintain inventory, logs, and documentations related to IT Infra Services/system
• Comply with and implement ISO security mandates, audit, and bank’s policies to ensure secure, approved, and successful implementation, configuration and changes
• Work with PMO in implementing, testing and roll out of projects in accordance to project management practices
• Has effective communication, welling to learn, attentive to work and people, and problem-solving skills. Team working, relating and networking
Principal Responsibilities
Primary Responsibility
To provide reliable service to the bank users by maintaining the infrastructure systems and services on an effective manner.
Server Infrastructure
• Performing Veeam backups for the entire virtualized environment.
• Applying operating system updates, and configuration changes.
• Installing and configuring datacenter infrastructure hardware and software.
• Adding/deleting/creating/modifying user accounts information, resetting passwords, etc.
• Troubleshooting reported problems of servers
• System performance tuning.
• Update system as soon as new stable version of OS and application software comes out
• Implement the policies for the use of the computer system and network
• Create a backup and recovery policy
• Provides support on enterprise level virtualization infrastructure based on VMware product suites
• Applying security updates and hotfixes
• Identification and resolution of virtualization issues and problems
• provide support of service desk (ManageEngine) system
• Projects Infra resources provisioning and support

Person Specifications
• Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent
• 10 years’ Experience.

- Payment System Application Specialist – IT (Omani National)
Payments system professional having experience in implementation of payment systems and development of payment solutions.
• Extensive technical knowledge of Payment Systems covering Debit card/ Credit card / POS / Merchant Management, Payment switch, ACH, RTGS, Clearing System, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking & Digital Wallet.
• Extensive technical knowledge of Payment Systems regulations (VISA, MasterCard..) and mandates.
• Good understanding of Banking Functional Requirements Specifications and Software Requirements Specifications.
• Maintain technology and compliance with service level agreements.
• Demonstrate strong experience in leading and managing teams of software developers.
• Support the project execution and governance by playing the role of a technical lead.
• Develop and communicate clear and actionable deliverables, or activities to be completed to relevant teams and departments.
• Must have proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to understand the business requirement and help identify, communicate and resolve systems issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.
• Hands-on experience in managing, troubleshooting and resolving problems related to payment channels.
• Experience in industry standard design and development methodologies.
• Added experience in implementing Payment Switch and development of channel functionalities.

• Ensuring prompt, efficient and effective Analysis of the problems reported by the users.
• Ensuring the successful and timely resolution of the reported problems.
• Ensuring the successful training given to the users and to the IT Operators
• Ensuring the successful recording of the issues and resolution provided.
• Interacting and follow-ups with the vendors on problems and enhancement reported to the vendors.
Principal Responsibilities
• Preparation of functional and technical specification for channel related developments.
• To assist in understanding and analyzing the day-to-day problems faced by the end users of the systems.
• Advise on interface testing and certification
• Advise on system integrity between banking and other payment system
• Supervise maintenance and upgrade of proprietary software applications
• To provide advice and support to users on the most appropriate software packages and applications to meet business needs
• To deliver training to users in software applications
• Prepare manuals for operators and users
• Advice in implementing changes required by users & software vendors.
Person Specifications
• University degree in the field of computer science or equivalent.
• 8 Year’s Experience on Programming and Analysis preferably in Banking Industry.
