Doha: Algeria defeated Sudan 4-0 in the Group D match of the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2021 at Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium on Wednesday.
Baghdad Bounedjah opened the scoring for Algeria in the 11th minute. Bounedjah added the second in the 37th minute. Djamel Benlamri netted the third goal for the Algerian team in the 43rd minute. El Arabi Soudani scored the fourth goal in the 46th minute.
Algeria secured their first three points to top Group D.
In Group D, Egypt will take on Lebanon at Al Thumama Stadium.
