Jaziri Seifeddine of Tunisia scored the first goal in the first half against the UAE for his country.
Doha: Tunisia defeated the United Arab Emirates by a solitary goal in their group match of FIFA Arab Cup at Al Thumama Stadium in Doha on Monday and finished as the group’s winner, while the UAE will have to face the host Qatar in the quarter-final.
As the UAE almost managed to ruin their chances in the FIFA Arab Cup, fortunately it was Mauritania who saved them in the end. Both Tunisia and the UAE will now reach the quarter-finals.
Though the match was very hard fought from the physical point of view, in the end, the Tunisians took the result with an early goal scored after 10 minutes.
