- VIE/PANGEO – Project Engineer M/W
The Pangeo will therefore be involved with the following related technical services:
Hydraulic assessment of drinking water networks (site visits and data collection, development of updated synoptics and measurement plans);
Design and implementation of Geographical Information System (GIS) database based on the needs of the different projects;
Computation of a spatialized water demand based on the commercial and billing data;
Organization of measurement campaigns (installation and removal of measuring equipment);
Hydraulic analysis of the measurement campaign results;
Hydraulic modelling and calibration with WaterGEMS software;
Production of deliverables such as: PPT presentations, Minutes of Meetings and Monthly Progress Reports, Technical Notes, Metrological plans, Hydraulic Reports, etc.
Support the commercial (site visit, technical offer preparation) and structural (assist the Manager in the planning of the activities) development of the company.
Main Responsibilities
Participation in the preparation of Expression of Interest
Participation in the preparation of technical and financial proposal
Participation in the data collection, data analysis, database management and creation of processes to simplify the work
Involvement in the project management by taking charge of the organizational and logistic aspects under the direction of the project manager
Contributing to studies/work to be performed and working closely with the experts
Assistance to the country manager to manage all technical issues, preparation and review of reports
Profile Required
Educational background: 5 years of higher education (BAC+5) /general engineer
Previous experience: Consulting Engineering Services in the Water Sector
Skills: Proficient user of software such as Office (word, excel, ppt), GIS (Arcgis, Qgis) and hydraulic modelling ideally. Knowledge in water treatment, environment
Languages: Fluent in English and Arabic (speaking, writing, reading). French will be a plus.
Other: Adaptability and capacity to synthesize. Autonomous, self-motivated, responsive, and organized
