MoCSY holds workshop on updating sports strategies

MUSCAT: The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth held a workshop to update the sports strategy of the Sultanate of Oman with the aim of keeping pace with the developments in the sports fields and adapting them with Oman Vision 2040. The workshop seeks to realize the aspirations and ambitions of Omani youth in the sports field by discussing the challenges and aspirations. It brings together specialists from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, the Oman Olympic Committee, sports federations, sports committees, specialized clubs, sports centres, associations and sports institutions, Sultan Qaboos University, Oman School Sports Federation and representatives from the private sector. — ONA
