Systems Implementation Expert–(20145)

Description

Job Title:Expert, Systems Implementations.
Role Purpose: Responsible of Manage implementation on an end-2-end technical basis according to agreed release and project schedules (containing progressive agenda and timeline) and integrate the back end systems.

Key Responsibilities:
1. System Implementation:• Maintain deep understanding on SOW of projects to support the implementation of large business projects through dedicated project management.• Maintain deep understanding on enterprise systems architecture as well as status of enabling layer systems so that all development is coherent.• Provide solutions to issues raised, within timelines agreed.• Supporting Omantel in setting up and maintaining quality standards for the systems.• Being pro-active and providing solutions to resolve issues identified.• Contribute with comments, suggestions and ideas to improve the systems implementation.• Routing issues found during the implementation, through agreed escalation/reporting co-ordination procedures to the respective contact point. 2. ICT industry:• Adopt best practice of enterprise systems integration and implementation.• Provides technical expertise on available technologies and processes to improve quality, customer satisfaction and cost performance.• Create and deliver training for team members and other colleagues in relation to IT in order to insure the team is update to date.
3. Policy and Reporting:• Provides regular updates to management on status, problems of systems implementation.• Reviews and maintains all IT systems development and release management Process, deployment and change request Process and policies.• Participates, advises, communicates, and supports teams with all new or old policies and procedures in order to in line with Omantel IT policy.• Contributes to the service plan for Business Support by advising and doing visibility check for a given requirement.• Creates new operational administrative support systems, including those to support inspection processes, and business continuity systems as required and adjust existing support systems to match service needs.Knowledge / Technical Skills:
• Self-motivated and highly organized with good time management skills.• Strong communication and team work skills.• Cooperative, yet assertive.• Ability to work in an often fast paced, hectic, and demanding environment.• Must have exceptional problem solving skills.• Strong knowledge in ICT, new technologies and Enterprises systems.

Qualifications

Education / Experience:
• Bachelor in a relevant field with 7 years of experience as a minimum.
