Muscat: The inflation rate of consumer prices in the Sultanate of Oman increased by 3.56 percent during November 2021 compared to the same month in October 2020, and the rate increased by 0.12 percent compared to October 2021, according to the latest data issued by the National Center for Statistics and Information.
The increase in the price index in November 2021 compared to the same month in 2020 is attributed to the increase in the prices of major groups such as the transportation group by 11.04 percent, the education group by 5.10 percent, the personal goods and miscellaneous services group by 3.18 percent, the tobacco group by 2.98 percent.
