Human Resources Manager
Responsibilities
Drive smooth operations within department and act as the focal point for the department to ensure seamless delivery of Human Resources services
Serve as a single point of contact to provide consultation and HR leadership for business.
Consult and provide guidance regarding talent acquisition, talent development, workforce planning, performance management, organizational effectiveness, employee policies and procedures.
Assist the school principal with developing the manpower budget for the organisation and procure approval from shareholders and the Board.
Assist the school principal with monitoring and reviewing the budget for recruitment to ensure the recruitment cost is maintained within budget and overall employee cost is optimised.
Liaise with government and private sector entities such as MOM, MOE, PASI, recruitment agencies for all HR related.
Works closely with Office Administration, Managers and employees to address a variety of workplace and employee relations issues and topics; provide guidance and pursue solutions that balance individual, firm and functional needs.
Manages and coordinate the personnel, training, or labor relations activities and Acts as the focal contact person for questions regarding local training and development.
Monitors compensation, benefits and performance management systems.
Facilitates a policy framework to enable employee efficiently do their work.
Sets up HR related company policies and procedures.
Perform difficult staffing duties, including dealing with understaffing, refereeing disputes, firing employees, and administering disciplinary procedures.
Manage and handle payroll operations.
Manages and coordinates local HR processes (e.g., employee capacity changes, new contracts) and letters of recommendation aligned with local labor law.
Acts as point of contact for transfers supports mobility program, on boarding, orientation and other Employee relations activities.
Partners with team managers on set up and administration of performance improvement plans.
Assume ad-hoc responsibilities as and when assigned by reporting line.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent
8+ years’ experience in Human Resources
Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
Attention to detail and good judgement
