Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has seized more than 1,000 packages of Khat drug from four smugglers, while they attempted to enter the Sultanate of Oman illegally..
According to the ROP, the Coast Guard police boats arrested four smugglers off the shores of Dhofar Governorate, while attempting to enter the Omani territorial sea, with 1,709 packages of the drug- khat. Legal procedures are being completed against the accused.
