Muscat: Fisheries control teams arrested four expatriate workers at Duqm Fishing Port.
The Directorate of Agricultural, Fisheries Wealth and Water Resources in Al Wusta Governorate said: “The fisheries control team in Al Wusta Governorate carried out an inspection campaign at the (multi-purpose) fishing port in Duqm today with the support of the Royal Oman Police, where a number of violations were detected related to not holding licenses and fishing outside the permissible range and four violating expatriate workers were arrested, and legal measures are being taken against them.”
