AVP, Information Technology
Job Purpose:
Inspire a positive work environment and help champion quality, innovation, teamwork and service to business. Direct and manage all information technology needs for the business from preparing the IT plans, evaluating systems, to overseeing installation of the systems, to ensure cost effective IT support.
Govern day-to-day operations of the country IT to achieve timely, accurate, and uninterrupted delivery of IT services.
Accountable to coordinate with Head Office team and manage overall operation of the Information Technology infrastructure & applications or communications (voice and data).
The role provides a vision of how technology is applied within the regional office. The key areas include developing technology roadmaps, IT operations, vendor management, regulatory compliance and business relationship management.
Minimum Qualification & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
ITIL certification – Foundation minimum
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-103) – preferred
Microsoft Certified Solution Associate – preferred
AWS Certified – preferred
Minimum Experience:
Experience of at least 10-12 years in information technology and service management;
Extensive skills in IT infrastructure management and IT risk management;
Strong knowledge of contracting, negotiation, organization development, change management, technology trends, service management and strategic planning;
Extensive knowledge of automated systems including software, hardware, telecommunications and in particular, information technology architecture in a banking environment;
Hands on Experience with Virtualized Environment (Hyper V/ Citrix/ VMware);
Hands on Experience on Patch and Vulnerability management Solution (SCCM/ DSM / Languard);
Technical experience of managing a core banking and payment system;
Excellent oral and written communication skills and well versed in English language as well;
Very strong conceptual, analytical judgment and communication abilities are critical;
Previous leadership, management and supervisory experience
Project management skills and experience.
