Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Tuesday received greetings from Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal al Busaidy, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, on the 11th of January Anniversary, the day when His Majesty assumed reins of power, reading as follows:
Your Majesty, Sultan Haitham bin Tarik,
As the happy anniversary of Your Majesty’s accession to power in the country arrives, I am honoured and so are the staff of the Diwan of Royal Court, to extend to Your Majesty our sincerest greetings on this blessed and auspicious occasion, praying to Allah Almighty to bestow upon Your Majesty abundant blessings, and to return this occasion and similar ones while you are enjoying good health and well-being.

This day heralds God’s help and success in a promising future for comprehensive development and lasting glory, so that the Sultanate of Oman continues to live in glory, loftiness, dignity and honour.
The affiliates of the Diwan of Royal Court, as they are overwhelmed with feelings of joy and happiness on this solemn occasion, pledge to Your Majesty to move forward behind your wise leadership with loyalty and obedience, and to work hard and sincerely for the good of the Sultanate of Oman and its progress.
