Muscat: Asilah Salim Al Samsami, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion for Investment reviewed means of enhancing trade and investment cooperation with business-people and investors from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The meeting aimed to increase trade exchange between the two countries.
The meeting also touched on the incentives offered by the ministry and the investment opportunities in the industrial field.
Presentations were given on the advantages provided for investors by the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn), Khazaen Economic City and the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (OPAZ).
The initiatives and achievements of the past period in supporting investors, easing procedures and attracting foreign capital to Oman were also covered in the meeting.
The meeting was attended by Amjad Al Quhaiwi, Ambassador of Jordan to Oman and several officials from both sides.
