The results of revising, restructuring and governance of the electricity sector:
-Reorienting the electricity subsidy for the residential category from 5-10 years with an increase rate not exceeding 2 bisas per annum.
-Fixing the approved tariff for the residential category for the year 2022, at the December, 2021 tariff of the same category.
-Standardizing the electricity consuming segments for all accounts of the residential category whereby the tariff for 2022 will be determined on the basis of two groups.
-Merging electricity supply and distribution companies into three companies while maintaining Dhofar Integrated Services Company.
