Zanzibar: Sayyid Badr Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister met here on Tuesday with President Dr Hussein Ali Mwinyi of Zanzibar.
The meeting comes within the framework of Sayyid Badr’s visit to the United Republic of Tanzania.
Sayyid Badr conveyed greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik along with his best wishes of permanent health and happiness to President Mwinyi. His Majesty also wished the relations between the two countries further progress and growth.
On his turn, President Mwinyi asked Sayyid Badr to convey his greetings and best wishes to His Majesty the Sultan. He also wished the Omani people continuous progress and prosperity.
The two sides reviewed the historic relations between the two countries and constructive cooperation in economic, cultural and investment fields.
They also expressed their governments’ joint keenness in promoting business and investment partnership to serve the joint interests of the two countries.
