Muscat: An oil refinery in Riyadh was attacked by a drone, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) announced yesterday.
SPA said an official source in the Ministry of Energy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) condemns the exposure of the Riyadh refinery to a drone attack and denounces acts that target the security of energy supplies.
The official added, “As a result of the attack, a small fire was brought under control, and the attack did not result in injuries or deaths, and the refinery’s operations were not affected, nor the supplies of petroleum and its derivatives.”
