Muscat: The Tax Authority has issued a decision No. 89/2022 to add more food commodities to the list which is subject to Value Added Tax (VAT) at zero per cent.
The first article of the decision stipulates that the following food commodities should be added to the appendix of the food commodities subject to value added tax at zero per cent: barley, corn, wheat, soybeans and bird, poultry and animal feed.
